[Testo disponibile solo in inglese] “Supremacía” is a non-linear tale freely based on the short story “The Supremacy Of Uruguay” written by Elwyn Brooks White in 1933.

“Supremacía” is based on the idea that Uruguay conquered the world in 1933 and proposes a Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Supremacy of Uruguay, from a contemporary perspective.

This solemn celebration consists in an audio-visual performance that shows the past and present of the Supremacy of Uruguay: the creation of the weapon that brought the victory, the invasion of the Uruguayan army, the figure of our Leader, and the insertion of our culture in all the nations.

“Supremacía” is a work of fiction. Any resemblance to reality is mere coincidence.


In a world full of audio-visual information, creation and authorship is diluted in an endless stream of ideas that get mixed, iterated and superimposed.

In this context, the role of the artist acquires a new significance through compilation. Thus, this new act of creation is re-signified and goes unnoticed, just like the Supremacy of Uruguay.


“Supremacía” is an immersive audio-visual performance, conceived as a humble homage to all the nations on Earth.

This solemn act reviews the invention of the weapon that took Uruguay to the victory, celebrates the heroic invasion of the Uruguayan army, and praises the figure of our beloved Leader, who has taken our culture to the most remote corners of the world.
