Based on the different projects of the laureates of recent years, we address the question of what media art really is and what significance it has in contemporary art production. The works impressively show us how different means of expression can be extended and linked in all directions and on all media. The works explore illusion, reality, language, change, society and globalization. “The project emerged as a repeated question about the abstract nature of globalization, locating itself at the interface between art and cultural studies and devoting itself to a special manifestation of the workings of a global 2nd-hand economy - the” car-cards ” Invitations to sell them on the windshields of parked cars act as constituent elements of a cultural field.
