[Testo disponibile solo in inglese] Analog Rotoscope is a hands-on workshop where a short video is taken apart, frame by frame, and given a whole new life through painting, drawing, collage, and whatever analog media calls to you. Each still image is transformed, and then set back into motion, reborn as a new stop-motion animation.
The workshop can be given in English, Spanish, or Italian.
Participants should bring:
A laptop with video editing software installed (Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve)
A smartphone with a camera
A small tripod for the smartphone (ideally)
Their own art materials for the technique they want to use — for example, oil paint and brushes, charcoal, or other media of their choice
