The piece provocatively juxtaposes Ukrainian culture with Irish folklore and history to explore the universal issue of nationalism. The piece is edited from Alexander Dovzhenko’s Ukrainian trilogy, Zvenigora, Arsenal, and Earth, and features an original composition for Mandolin, Piano, and Laptop.
