Freight Train to Midnight is a multimedia live performance. An intuitive and improvised filming process results in a multimedia poem.
Late at night and wide awake, a director tries to makes sense of the process and decisions that drove a filming project. The whole thing crossed borders and oceans, from Barcelona to Budapest, via Berlin. The blur of it is like a dream, and absurd meaningless anecdotes influenced central aspects of it.
A character materialises. A deer attempts to sabotage the event. Memories and dreams that came before and after the shoot blend, in a cut-up style combining live performance, video, photography, sound and music. A train ride into a film.
