[Text available only in English] This is an audiovisual liveset that was created to realise works for my latest album The Permanence of Decay. A lot of my work originates from small details in field recordings and granular synthesis experiments. I wanted my visuals to do the same and so I began to capture a lot of macro footage with my phone. The footage is processed to the point where it becomes graphical and can move rhythmically to the beat of the music. I capture both industrial and natural footage from my home in south Wales, UK, to highlight the contrast between the two and the struggle for nature to survive in the Anthropocene era.
I adapted some of the new video techniques into a music video for a more upbeat track:
