[Testo disponibile solo in inglese] Inspired by the pioneering work of climate scientist Edward Lorenz, this audiovisual performance explores the fragile balance between order, chaos, and the emergence of life.
Lorenz showed how the smallest deviation in a system’s initial conditions — the proverbial butterfly effect — can cascade into immense and unpredictable transformations. Today, this insight resonates more urgently than ever, as our planet faces irreversible climate shifts driven by human impact.
This piece translates one of Lorenz’s first climate models into an interactive live sound art experiment, where sound and visuals unfold approximations to (hidden) realities — evoking the beauty and precarity of a world on the edge of transformation.
The Live Performance has been reccorded at the Reaktorhalle of HMTM München on 24.07.2025.
